Simsonn Racing Simulator Pressure Handbrake View Detail

I opted for the Simpson handbrake as it has the ability to mount horizontally and vertically (I much prefer horizontal like traditional car) however i was extremely limited on mounting space, so I decided to try and modify the handbrake by removing the elbow piece that connects the lever to the base. To my surprise this worked exceptionally well and the handbrake now fits Snug within my play space and operates perfectly. Being desk mounted the red elastima that came by default was a tad to stiff for my liking, so I ordered a white elastima which is half the force required and it feels absolutely perfect. I've also further customised the aesthetic by adding a boot and handle cover over the grip to give it a more authentic eurostyle look, and I love it. The only thing I would change from default is maybe give people the option to shorten the overall size of the handbrake as I did without too much tinkering as I needed to cut and modify a few parts, and more importantly it would have been really nice if some other elastomers were included in the package by default to change the overall stiffness as it was slightly inconvenient to have to order their separately and wait for delivery but nonetheless i'm very satisfied overall with how this turned out

This is a really nice handbrake, adjustability and feel are great, and so far it's held up really well with rally driving.

Feels great to use, good quality and sturdy.

I like it a lot. Looks strong and well designed. Didn't find a solution for limit the max force in settings. Maybe I have to re-do the calibration procedure.

My superstition and my work is very, very recommend, but it is the best.

Really good handbrake for the given price. There is some slack from side to side, maybe 1-2mm, I fixed that with other washers. Also reach out to the seller for the software, so you can set up the handbrake individually. If you have a harder rubber, it makes the handbrake perfect, the rubbers from Heusinkveld and Asetek fit perfectly into it.

Great handbrake, easy to set up and use.

Arrived quicker than expected and was packed well. It was a bit of mucking around trying to get it in the right place, I had to mount it vertically instead of horizontal. It works well, I thought it might be too strong but the action is just right for my stand. It’s built well and I expect it should last a long time.

Does its role, the elastomer could be a little more rigid, apart from that perfect very well finished and good material.

My son said it works perfectly.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this handbrake. Although I haven't had a handbrake before, this one seems to be inspired by one of the best handbrakes on the market, although I have no way of making a direct comparison. The delivery was amazing – super fast and the product was well packed. It's plug and play, requiring only configuration in the game settings. It's very robust and the load cell is very precise. This handbrake is a game changer, and I highly recommend it. It's amazing value for the money. The next investment will be the pedals
